Corteva Agriscience Data Engineer in Barueri, Brazil

Description

Extract-Transfer-Load (ETL) jobs for model building, dashboarding, pilots, and scaling up

Ensures data validity for every use case in AA

Integrates models and process

Responsibilities

Data Master (source of truth for Advanced Analytics CoE data)

Designs and Implements ETL based on jointly defined requirements along data pipeline

Brings experience of Oracle, Data Ware Houses, and Data Lakes to development team Integrator

Integrates and automates models to process

Performance Management

KPIs & Performance management based on satisfaction of AA team towards data quality

Promote and Support Data Quality initiatives

Understand user requirements that may improve the ability to delivering value with the Analytics use cases

Enable all relevant Customer Journey data points

Qualifications

Minimum experience:

10 years' of overall experience

Exposure to one of Big Data and Database platforms e.g. SQL Server, Hadoop, Map/Reduce, Spark, HBase, CouchDB, Hive, Pig, Azure Ecosystem, etc.

Worked one of TeraData, Oracle, MySQL, Informatica, Power BI, Tableau, QlikView or similar reporting and BI packages

Azure Tools: Advanced

Minimum skills: Experience with SQL, .NET, Dremio, PySpark, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Power BI (DAX, M) - Advanced

Skill considered plus points: Data automation process.

Other considerations: Self driven, motivated, has strong work ethic, with decent communication and collaboration skills

Degree: Graduate/Postgraduate from a quantitative field (Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Sciences, Finance)

Language: English (Advanced)
