What You Will Get To Do:

Our Team is seeking a strong Security focused DevOps Engineer to join an agile team in a highly mission-focused environment. The role supports software development efforts through all aspects of the software engineering lifecycle. The successful candidate is a dynamic self-starter with aptitude to solve technical challenges and capable of adapting to using new technologies with little assistance. You will work in an agile team environment to design, implement and test build processes to support the entire SW lifecycle. You will create and present design documentation and participate in design reviews for build processes. You will configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines to deploy code using Git/Jenkins. You will perform peer reviews and share O&M responsibilities with other members of the development team. You will ensure users are provided efficient and timely support to incidents and service requests. You will implement and maintain system monitoring tools/metrics to ensure the health of all services. You will support the team in the creation and maintenance of documentation for standard operating procedures and provide on-call support.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience working in software engineering, application development and/or web application development and deployment

Active TC/SCI with required polygraph clearance

Experience with incident and problem management. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Ability to troubleshoot complex problems in Web based distributed systems

Experience in implementing and/or developing solutions to monitor software systems

Experience developing in Linux environments

Experience in any one of the Cloud Computing Platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCE)

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and experience working in Agile team environment

Familiarity with SQL, Oracle, MySQL

Experience with software test suites, CI/DC pipelines, automated software build and test

Experience working with source code management tools such as GitHub, or GitLab Git, JIRA, Jenkins

Experience with Linux and DevOps practices

Experience with PKI, Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, CloudFormation)

Experience with any one of scripting languages (e.g. bash, python)

These Skills Would Be Nice To Have:

Experience developing in multiple object-oriented programming languages (Ruby, Java)

Experience with AWS CLI, AWS CDK, or AWS SDK

Experience with Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle

Ability to automate repetitive and mundane tasks that could be automated

Ruby/Rails

Rake

AWS and like systems

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$102,900 - $216,200
