Robert Half Help Desk Analyst II in Glen Allen, Virginia

Description We are in need of a Help Desk Analyst II to join our team based in Glen Allen, Virginia. This role involves providing second level support to our team members across various banking systems, making it an integral part of our operations. As a Help Desk Analyst II, you will be handling a wide range of tasks from assisting with password resets to providing first level support for all banking systems.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality customer service to internal clients by providing a single point to report problems or make inquiries

• Manage daily service delivery issues and undertake special projects as assigned

• Conduct first level problem determination using documented procedures and available tools

• Record problem symptoms and status information to communicate effectively with the Information Technology staff

• Ensure client satisfaction regarding calls to the Help Desk

• Log all client questions and problems and track them through to resolution

• Ensure timely escalation of client problems by documenting the impact to the client and assigning an appropriate priority and resolution target

• Provide specialized user support services including the timely diagnosis and resolution of problems and malfunctions to applications

• Support numerous types of issues in a full production environment including peripheral equipment such as scanners and printers

• Train employees in the proper operation and care of computer and peripheral equipment

• Maintain a working understanding of, and comply with, applicable banking regulations, operating procedures, technology issues, and security guidelines

Skills: Citrix Technologies, Database, EO/IR systems, Lotus Notes, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deskside Support, Desktop Hardware. Requirements • Must possess comprehensive knowledge of Citrix Technologies.

• Proficiency in Database management and operations required.

• Expertise in EO/IR systems is a must.

• Must be comfortable with Lotus Notes.

• Strong familiarity with Microsoft suite of products demanded.

• Experience with Active Directory is essential.

• Must have a strong understanding of Computer Hardware.

• Skill in Configuration Management is necessary.

• Deskside Support experience required.
