Sierra Nevada Corporation Executive Assistant I in Lone Tree, Colorado

As an Executive Assistant I you will provide high-level administrative support to leaders at the Sr. Vice President and Vice President level enabling them to focus on strategic initiatives and day-to-day responsibilities. This position will work closely with the Administration Manager and the administration team to ensure seamless operations and collaborative support. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of handling confidential information with discretion and demonstrate solid judgment in the planning and performance of all the duties and functions of the job. This role requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

This position will be at our state-of-the-art facility IAS Headquarters in Englewood, CO.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage the SVP's calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings, ensuring all relevant parties are informed and prepared

  • Screen and prioritize incoming communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail, and respond or redirect as appropriate

  • Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, reports, and other documents on behalf of the SVP

  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries, and prepare expense reports

  • Serve as a liaison between the SVP and internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, clients, and partners

  • Conduct research, gather data, and compile reports as needed to support the SVP's decision-making process

  • Assist with special projects, events, and initiatives as assigned by the SVP, providing logistical support and coordination

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and exercise discretion in handling confidential matters

  • Anticipate the SVP's needs and proactively address potential issues or challenges to ensure smooth operations

  • Collaborate with other members of the executive team and support staff to facilitate cross-functional communication and alignment

Must-haves:

  • B.A. (or equivalent degree) and 2 years of relevant work experience, or H.S. Diploma and 3 years of relevant work experience

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, and SharePoint is required

  • Must be extremely dynamic, demonstrate initiative, and have the ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment

  • Extensive organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficient communication skills are required.

  • Must be able to interpret the intent of available guidelines and use considerable judgment in applying them to individual situations

  • Must be able to solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Preferred:

  • Experience in a DOD environment and familiarity with JTR and FCG

  • Experience with Concur Travel and Expense platform or other travel management system

  • Proven interpersonal communication skills with personnel at all levels internal and external to the organization, including foreign and military officials

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $32.25 - $44.35. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
