Job Description

Position: Sr. Marketing & BD Manager

Location: Shanghai

Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and business development plan aligned with company goals and objectives.

  • Lead team of marketing and business development professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.

  • Work as key local partner with BU product management team to support VOC, NPI GTM, production transfer, and key vertical penetration.

  • Work with sales team to identify growth potential and lead team to explore the solutions to motivate business growth, including vertical penetration, OEM, localization, and derivatives development, etc

  • Lead team to insure on-time launch and GTM excellence for both global and local driving projects, take ownership of product management from local

  • Cooperate with commercial team and marcom team to drive leads generation and pipeline generation, as well as conversion enhancement.

  • Lead KOL program related to responsible BUs

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor above degree in engineering, analytical chemistry, or material science; MBA is a plus

  • Significant experience in marketing and business development roles, preferably in a senior or leadership capacity.

  • Strong ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive marketing and business development plans aligned with organizational goals is crucial, including the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills are essential, with ability to motivate and inspire a team, provide guidance and mentorship, and effectively delegate tasks.

  • Deep understanding of business principles, including financial analysis, budgeting, and profitability; sufficient experience of product management and NPI process.

  • The ability to adapt to changing market dynamics, embrace new technologies and marketing trends, and think creatively to develop innovative marketing approaches is highly desirable.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to effectively convey marketing strategies, negotiate partnerships, and establish relationships with clients and stakeholders. Strong presentation skills to deliver compelling pitches and presentations.
