Marketing Manager

Location: UK

Summary:

This is an excellent opportunity to make an impact in an exciting operation and develop skills across a range of marketing disciplines. An eye for detail, commercial focus, excellent communication and strong project management skills are all must-haves for this position. You will work closely with the rest of the marketing team to coordinate and optimise the delivery of marketing projects and special events.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the framework for proprietary sales play events to standardize content and formats across EMEA region. Project manage execution alongside Field Marketing colleagues.

  • Program manage EMEA Apps participation, sales communications and content strategy for major One Oracle regional and xLOB industry events (OCW, MWC etc).

  • Develop and manage a network of both internal and external influencers, associations and subject matter experts to support Oracle campaigns and special events.

  • Champion xLOB marketing initiatives and tools enablement.

  • Act as a compliance and ethics liaison for the EMEA Apps Marketing team, ensuring all activities meet Oracle’s codes of conduct and governance processes.

  • Plan and govern marketing expenditure, liaising with Marketing Ops and Shared Service teams to obtain accurate reports and liaise with regional field marketers on forecasting and reconciling spend to ensure strict adherence to budget and procurement processes.

  • Manage EMEA Apps event calendar to ensure accuracy of plan and facilitate standardization across regions.

  • Manage event content being repurposed on digital channels to ensure longevity and integrated campaign execution.

  • Liaise with Customer Marketing, PR and Content teams to propose and secure speakers for events and key campaigns.

  • Manage proactive (and standardized) approach to User Group sponsorship and liaison.

  • Review the performance of all managed projects across all channels with marketing management. Provide detailed analysis and commentary, make recommendations, and implement changes where necessary to ensure KPIs are met.

Qualifications:

  • Marketing qualifications (preferable)

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in the delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns and events within a B2B organisation. Software and technology experience is a plus.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Business-level English is a must and a second European language advantageous.

  • Attention to detail, follow-through and deadline compliance.

  • Strong project and event management skills.

  • Experience within a high-growth company, with a focus on volume and velocity in demand generation.

  • Experience of working with complex teams and across multiple geographies and cultures

Drive the implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer specifications for existing and future products. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Drive product functionality delivering high quality product documentation. Lead products through scheduled release assisting others to manage commitments and resources. Measure and report progress and review deliverables.
